Dec 26, 2025 – Enough
JA – I AM THE GREATEST GIFT IMAGINABLE! When you have Me, you have everything you need – for this life and the next. I have promised to meet all your needs according to My glorious riches. Yet My loved ones sometimes fail to enjoy the riches I provide because of an ungrateful attitude…. I’m training you to practice the sacrifice of thanksgiving – thanking Me in all circumstances. First, give thanks for the blessings you can see in your life. Then stop and ponder the awesome gift of knowing Me…. Whatever you have + Me = an incalculable fortune! (See Philippians 4:19.)
Utmost – Chambers writes, “If I walk in the light as God is in the light, not in the light of my conscience, but in the light of God – if I walk there, with nothing folded up, then there comes the amazing revelation – the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses me from all sins so that God Almighty can see nothing to censure in me. In my consciousness it works with a keen poignant knowledge of what sin is. The love of God at work in me makes me hate with the hatred of the Holy Ghost all that is not in keeping with God’s holiness. To walk in the light means that everything that is of the darkness drives me closer into the center of the light.
Power – Joyce writes, “Develop your faith in the area of God’s favor; live expecting it all the time. Pray for favor. Trust God to open the right doors and to close the wrong ones. Ask the Lord for ‘divine connections’ and friendships that are right for you. Confess that you have favor with God and He gives you favor with humankind. Before embarking on any business venture, ask for favor. When you meet new people, ask for favor. I even ask God for favor before going into a restaurant. He can get me the best seat in the house, the best waiter, the best service, and the best food. The Bible says in James 4: 2, ‘You do not have, because you do not ask.’”
Don gets good parking spots (we call them Don parks) almost everywhere he goes and he attributes it to God’s favor. Some people would say that’s prosperity gospel and they look down on it. My question to them would be, “Why are you against prosperity?” I’m officially starting my wine consulting business today and having my first wine tasting tonight with family and friends. Lord, I ask for favor tonight and I thank You for favor going forward in this endeavor. Help me to see and appreciate the open and closed the doors You have for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
JC – “I am the gift that continuously gives – bounteously, with no strings attached. Unconditional Love is such a radical concept that even My most devoted followers fail to grasp it fully….. When you are dissatisfied with your behavior, you tend to feel unworthy of My Love…. When you are feeling unworthy or unloved, come to Me. Then ask for receptivity to My unfailing Love.
Streams – Matthew 26:36 – “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” Cowman has a lot to say and share from selected others about this. She writes, “It is a very difficult thing to be kept in the background during a time of crisis…. You and I have certainly had that experience and felt the same disappointment…. some people are sent immediately to the work, while still others are being trained to go. Yet you are forced to do nothing but sit and wait…. Be still, dear soul – things are not what they seem! You are not excluded from any part of the Christian life…. Remember, it is Christ himself who says to you, ‘Sit here’…. There are some lives He brings into this world neither to do great work nor to bear great burdens. Their job is simply to be…the flowers in the garden that have no active mission. [I have felt this way at times.] They have won no major victories and have never been honored…. However, Jesus is delighted by the sight of them, for through their mere fragrance and beauty, they have brought Him joy. [And that is enough.] So you need not complain if you are one of these flowers! selected It is a blessing to learn that we bring joy to the Lord.
