July 26, 2026 – Next

My first post in this blog was a year ago today and yesterday was my last (at least for now) except for a handful of days that I need to go back to that got skipped while I was in Italy. I want to thank my two treasured, supportive readers, Barbara and Lee, (and any others who may have looked on at times) for taking this journey with me as I learned and grew through all that I read, experienced, and wrote. I am going to pursue other writing projects through the fall; but, if God leads me to do so, I will start on Jan 1 with a new set of devotion book friends.

The photo above is one my sister, Mary Beth, took of me in our hotel room in Munich in the summer of 1983. Though we always kidded that she took it of me writing in my journal (about her) after we had gotten cross with each other (which umm did happen at times), the note beside the photo thankfully contradicts that: “postcard time.”
