July 13, 2026 – Declare

Power – Joshua 3:4 – Yet a space must be kept between you and it, about 2000 cubits by measure; come not near it, that you may [be able to see the ark and] know the way you must go, for you have not passed this way before. Joyce points out, “Whether it is a job, a place to live, a relationship, an addition to your family, a position of influence, an exercise program, a church, a hobby, or a way of serving in your community – if you have ‘not passed this way before,’ it is new to you. You may not know how to get there or what to do when you arrive, but if you follow God, you will arrive at your destination and He will direct you in everything you need to do. You have no need to be afraid of new things because God is always with you and He will never leave you. Be courageous and trust Him to help you.”

Streams – Romans 4:17 – God…calls things that are not as though they were. Cowman asks, “What does this verse mean?” and adds a bit of a how-to to the idea of not having passed this way before: “It is the very reason why ‘Abraham in hope believed’ (v. 18). That Abraham would become the father of a child at his advanced age seemed absurd and an utter impossibility, yet God called him ‘the father of many nations’ (Gen. 17:4) long before there was any indication of fulfillment. And Abraham thought of himself as a father, because God had said so. That is genuine faith [and how to traverse new experiences] – believing and declaring what God has said, stepping out on what appears to be thin air and finding solid rock beneath your feet.”

Max – 1 Peter 5:7 NLT – Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. Max encourages, “Don’t let the difficulties of life suck you under. Give them to God before they get to you. Rather than assuming you can do nothing to help others, assume the posture of prayer.”

Prevail #194 – Daniel 12:3 – Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever. Larson encourages, “May we, like Daniel, serve with wisdom, godliness, and integrity. He kept his heart pure. He lived in Babylon. You may feel like you live in Babylon, yet everything you do for the kingdom, every person you love and point to Jesus, adds to the future glory of your life. Keep living for Jesus.”

JL – “My perfect Guide, You are my Shepherd who guides and shields me…. I know that You go before me and open up the way, carefully preparing the path I will follow…. In Your comforting Name, Jesus, Amen.” See Ps 23:1 and 4, Ps 48:14, and Exodus 15:13.
